Trusting in the Rock - Mark 12:28-44 - God wants you to place everything in His hands, not because He wants you to be empty, but because He wants to fill you to over-flowing. Of all the things we look to for stability and permanence He is the only true Rock who will never fall or fade away.
When Jesus calls us to follow Him, He is looking for people who are willing to let go of the ordinary and look for the extraordinary.
When Jesus enters our ordinary lives, we can expect the extraordinary. - Mark 1:17 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said,” and I will make you fishers of men.
You can advance in your career… Fall in love…. Own a home, cars, and more…. Build a family…., but NOTHING can make you feel whole like a relationship with God - Max Lucado

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. The Messiah. Jesus Christ. I adore You, worship You. — Isaiah 9:6
Love and long for God’s wisdom, Hunger for and respond positively to guidance, instruction, correction and assistance.
Check their tendency to promote self over others.
Are quick to admit wrong and repent.
Are uncontentious and “un-opinionated.”
Are pliable, moldable and teachable
Are quiet-spirited
Are servant-spirited.
Give honor, respect and submission when and where it is due.
Mind their own business.
Faithfully work where they are assigned.
Are God-dependent and God-honoring.
God says, “It’s better to be this kind of person!”
If we want the BETTER way of thinking and living, and it involves humility, we need to understand how a humble person thinks and lives.
God tells us what is BETTER. He then leaves the choice up to us.
God also says, “Let me show you a BETTER way to think and live. Don’t think highly, think lowly! It’s a BETTER way! Don’t allow the smallest seed of pride to slip into your heart.
